10. The Completely Wrong Foot-Count
There's a pretty big problem with the plan that Bad Ape, Maurice and Rocket enact to break into the army base to help their fellow apes escape.
The plan relies on Rocket counting out the steps to the cages holding the prisoner apes - and the other containing their babies - and passing the number on to Maurice and Bad Ape so they can count the same number out beneath the surface in the escape tunnel so they can dig up in exactly the right spot.
It's a nice idea, but there are two major flaws. First, Rocket doesn't count from the entrance to the tunnel, which is where Bad Ape counts from. And Bad Ape also turns at least one corner while counting the steps out, so on both accounts he should be in an entirely different place to his target.
Yet, wouldn't you know it, he ends up digging through the surface in exactly the right place. Somehow.
