Hopefully it is an indicator that everything else is so dynamite they couldn't unleash it upon audiences just yet. Of course one thing we can take from the clip is a sense of how Marc Webb will direct the movie. We should remember this is only his second feature film after Sony were delighted with the whimsical tone of his breezy anti-romantic comedy 500 Days of Summer and he hasn't got the decade experience Sam Raimi had before he helmed his first Spider-Man. And it shows a little, my Spidey sense is tingling here. Just a little anyway. Though I like what Andrew Garfield is doing with Parker. The Amazing Spider-Man opens July 1st, 2012. There really needs to be some better things to come.
