Just when you thought Warner Bros were struggling with a DCEU publicity crisis, they've hit a big one two of positive blows.

First, the studio announced that Matt Reeves has been finalised as The Batman director and now according to Batman-News it seems we're finally getting a Nightwing movie. And even better, it's potentially going to be directed by The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay.

It was only a few days ago that McKay was quoted as saying he was interested in doing a live action DC movie and if negotiations go well, he will get his wish in the best way.

The potential presence of a Nightwing movie explains precisely why Jason Todd was introduced as the dead Robin in Batman v Superman, and presumably means we will get to see Dick Grayson as Batman's former sidekick.

This has been a long time coming. We famously almost got a Nightwing movie starring Chris O'Donnell as a spin-off to Joel Schumacher's Batman films but ultimately Batman & Robin killed any chance of that happening. It's about time it was back under consideration.
