What Marvel's Ant-Man And The Wasp Cast Look Like In The Comics
11. Luis
In The Comics:
Luis, Scott Lang's best friend and former cellmate, is actually an example of a character who was introduced to screens first, then brought into the comics later on. Luis made his first comic book appearance in The Astonishing Ant-Man #1, about four months after he was first portrayed by Michael Peña in Marvel Studios' Ant-Man.
Naturally, the comic book version of Luis bears Peña's likeness almost perfectly, with the key difference being that while the film version is well-known for his comedic rants, his comic book self is silent.
In The Film:
Peña reprises his role from Ant-Man, looking the same as he did back in 2015. However, he now dresses smart, given the fact that he is in charge of X-Con Security Consultants, a company he and Scott started with their posse from the previous film.
Although, while the comic book version of Luis had his same short haircut from the first film, we learn in Ant-Man and the Wasp that he actually had a slightly... different hairstyle when he was behind bars.
