What Spider-Man: Homecoming Cast Look Like In The Comics

Rather than being another Shocker in the comics, Jackson Brice was a cowboy themed villain who debuted in Amazing Spider-Man #10 and boasted wicked lasso skills (and the nickname Montana). He was one of The Enforcers, alongside Fancy Dan and The Ox, who were hired by Big Man and eventually The Kingpin.

He did actually become a Shocker in the 2008 animated series Spectacular Spider-Man, though - abandoning his original cowboy gimmick after a couple of appearances.

Logan Marshall Green's rather hapless first Shocker has the same costume as Bokeem Woodbine's replacement with the same vague nods to the original character look in the comics. He is not, in any way, a cowboy.

9. Abe Brown

In The Comics

Not a high-school kid, Abraham Brown was in fact one of the founding members of the Sons Of The Tigers, who debuted in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #1 in 1974. After becoming empowered by magical amulets, he, Lin Sun and Bob Diamond fought crime alongside Spider-Man before they broke up and Brown went on to become Black Tiger.

He's almost unrecognisable in the film. Played by Abraham Attah (who rose to prominence in Beasts Of No Nation), he's another Decathlon team member, who likes to point out when Flash gets things wrong. He's diminutive and would look entirely ridiculous as a superhero to be honest.
