Which Other Spider-Man Character Will Feature In Captain America: Civil War?
Spider-Man universe is further expanding into Marvel's!
More Spider-Man news, ahoy! Back in July, rumours started to swell that Marisa Tomei's Aunt May might make an appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Heroic Hollywood are now confirming that's the case, with the actress having quietly shot some footage prior to the movie wrapping last week. Tomei is taking over the role from Sally Field, who played the character in both of Sony's Amazing Spider-Man flicks. After initially being promised just a cameo, Spidey's role in Civil War seems to be expanding all the time. We know actor Tom Holland shot in both Atlanta and Berlin, and now that Tomei is involved, you can probably add at least a third scene to his roster of appearances. Tomei's role comes hot on the heels of news that Spider-Man's bedroom will also feature, which I expect is where the actress will pop up. In fact, I'm willing to bet that one of Civil War's post-credits scenes has Spidey returning home after his first taste of superhero duty, to be greeted in some sort of comedic beat by Aunt May. I'm sure her part is very small, but it'll still be cool to see Tomei in action. Spider-Man...I mean Captain America: Civil War opens in the UK on 29th April 2016 and a week later in the US on 6th May.
