5. Deal Of The Century (1983)

This Chevy Chase vehicle was critically panned at the time of its release and is not considered one of Friedkin€™s best these days. A satire on the arms industry, it is however memorable for one small scene, which is (in its own odd way) quite extraordinary, being the only official, credited acting role by the late Ray Manzarek of The Doors, here playing a somewhat jovial arms dealer:What would Jim have thought of that?
