6. A Brief History Of Wolverine X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
Its no secret that Wolverine is one of the oldest mutants weve met so far even older than Professor X. In fact, due to his inherent healing factor and loss of memory, its unclear quite how old he is. But X-Men Origins: Wolverine gave us a glimpse at some of his most historic moments. Setting the scene, the film opens to a touching moment between two young brothers who later turn out to be Wolverine and his nemesis, Sabretooth. The fact that theyre related is a revelation which goes against the comic books, but this is soon eclipsed by the incredible montage of the two, fighting side-by-side through the American Civil War, World War I, World War II and even Vietnam. Although X-Men Origins is often thought of as an abomination, it did give us this impressive historical montage of everyones favourite wise-cracking mutant - its just a shame the rest of the movie wasnt this good.
