3. Did The Movie Set Up Bane's Origins?

The Question: With Doctor Poison being responsible for creating the elixir that increased General Ludendorff's strength, is it possible that the DCEU is hinting at the beginnings of what would eventually become Bane's Venom enhancement?

The Likely Answer: It's a nice idea, but there's very little chance this was a deliberate set-up, even if Doctor Poison being left alive certainly fits neatly into the theory.

At the end of the day, if Warner Bros. decide to introduce Bane into the DCEU in the future, they could very well use Poison's compound as the start-point, but it'll basically be mentioned after the fact rather than some genius, intentional slow-burn.
