With Batman V Superman and Suicide Squads release dates looming, fans have slowly started to turn their speculation towards the next project DC has lined up: Wonder Woman. Shes going to be a key building block in the DCEU and yet, to this point, beyond Gal Gadot and Chris Pines involvement, we know very little about the film other than whats been rumoured.
No superhero outing is set without a fearsome villain or two, so fittingly some of the biggest reports about Wonder Woman thus far have focused on the identity of who Diana will face. Sean Bean and Eva Green have allegedly been sought for two specific characters, but a singular report is hardly enough to go on.
This does not mean that we cant speculate, however. Wonder Womans comic book foes might be lesser known to the masses, but theyre just as diverse as anyones (and potentially even more exciting). Featuring baddies coming from sources ranging from Greek mythology to the animal kingdom, theres a pleasingly varied range of villains that could occupy the film.
