17. Ares Killed All The Gods

This is one heck of a bedtime story. With the flashback to young Diana, we hear her mother, Hippolyta, regale her with the story of the Gods, and how Ares defeated all of them, which is why Zeus created Themyscira. It's a gorgeously designed sequence, but there are a couple of issues with it.

Firstly, Hippolyta doesn't want Diana to train to be a warrior... so tells her THAT as a story? It's not exactly going to dissuade her. Even bigger, though, is that it presents the story as Ares having killed all of the Gods himself.

Yes, he's the God of War and a total badass, but *all* of them? Come on.
