7. The Amazons Are Descended From Kryptonians
The Rumour: This rumour has been around for several years now, that the Amazons are not in fact the creation of the Greek Gods, but rather a result of genetic experimentation by early Kryptonians.
How Likely Is It?: It would not only fly in the face of the countless references to Zeus in the movie's marketing, but create a rather convoluted link between Wonder Woman and Superman, one that was even dismissed by Batman v Superman producer Charles Roven back in 2014.
Roven also confirmed that Diana was the Demigod born from the union between Zeus and Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), so it seems like a pretty open-and-shut case.
Simply, unless Warner Bros. are massively trolling fans for no apparent reason other than to annoy them, this one's a peculiar fan theory and little else. 1/10
