2. The Excellent Supporting Cast

Though it's fair to say that much of the movie's illustrious supporting cast isn't in the movie as much as one might like, collectively they nevertheless form a terrific ensemble.

The highlights include Connie Nielsen as Diana's mother Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as the ferocious Amazon General Antiope, Elena Anaya's savage Doctor Poison, Lucy Davis' comical secretary Etta Candy, and Saïd Taghmaoui and Ewen Bremner as Steve's allies Sameer and Charlie.

It's no coincidence that most of the best roles have been reserved for women, of course, and the film's diverse cast serves as a fantastic display of smart, powerful, beautiful and sometimes terrifying women.
