As revealed by the official synopsis, Chris Pine's Steve Trevor literally washes up on Wonder Woman's shore, giving her a reason to leave for the world of man when he tells her of a terrible world war.

It's nice to see a man playing the damsel for once, as I'm sure you'll all angrily agree (and not call me an SJW in the comments LOL).

Since this is Diana's origin, we're going to see a younger more naive and inexperienced Diana, whose idealism draws her into the war of men.

She certainly looks fascinated by Trevor, who is the first man ever to set food on Themyscira (well, that's what she will have been told anyway).
