10. Keanu Reeves - Much Ado About Nothing

We all know that Keanu Reeves was egregiously miscast in Bram Stoker's Dracula, but the very next year he was equally ill-placed in Kenneth Branagh's star-studded adaptation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.

Reeves plays the story's villain, Don John, and while the film as a whole was well-received, many rightly pointed to Reeves as the weak link.

Beyond how obviously, hilariously out of place he seemed in the world of Shakespeare, his flat line delivery throughout showed him to be totally out of his depth with The Bard's dialogue.

It didn't help, of course, that he spent much of his screen time opposite an actor as brilliant as Denzel Washington, who plays John's half-brother Don Pedro, nor that the ensemble cast was absolutely stacked with acting lions like Branagh, Michael Keaton, and Emma Thompson.

Much as we all love Keanu, there's no getting around this one - he was wrong for the part.
