Arguably the most important casting has already been confirmed with the news that Oscar Isaac - clearly making a play to be crowned the king of geek properties after his turn in Star Wars - is set to go blue for the titular villain. It's good casting, though as a villain he's an unknown quantity Isaac says what his experience of the character so far suggests a suitably fearsome villain: Ive seen a couple things Scary st. Scary st Im going to bring down to their knees. Its amazing, Im so excited about everything thats going to happen. Hopefully he's going to be bulking up for the role. And speaking of physical transformations, James McAvoy says he expects to be bald for the film: the big question is whether they'll address how a man with luxurious hair could go bald in a matter of years. Anyway, what of the new versions of the old favourites; Storm, Cyclops and Jean Grey? The short-lists are apparently in (thought they do keep growing almost daily)...
