10. Psylocke
Why She Could Live: Psylocke is a major player in the X-Men, but more importantly in the X-Force. Its understandable that Fox is going to want to take every opportunity to tie the hugely-successful Deadpool into the X-Men franchise and Psylocke could be the way to do it. Their mutual presence on the X-Force could help strengthen the continuity of the X-Men universe, even if it means having to age the character in the present day or simply having them be members at different times.
It also seems weird to use a character of this magnitude from the comics as a lackey for the villain and then kill them off without allowing her to do much. Theres plenty of lesser characters that could have served in the role if their sole purpose was to help Apocalypse and then die.
Why She Could Die: Despite her standing in the comics, in the films, she doesnt mean much to the average viewer. Her death could easily be a casualty of war that makes it apparent the good guys arent taking any prisoners. In that case, her death wouldnt have any huge ramifications to the future of the X-Men universe and that just might be enough to make her expendable in such a crowded film.
