X-Men: Apocalypse - Predicting Who Lives And Who Dies

6. Havok

20th Century Fox

Why He Could Live: If Havok is being included in the film, it€™s probably for a reason. There€™s a lot of mutants being included so it would suggest that his function to the plot is essential, or elsethey would have just dispersed his lines to other characters.

Havokliving from start to finish would also represent the success of Xavier€™s teachings, showing how a troubled young man wastransformed under his tutelage, and symbolizing what€™s to come for the next wave of mutants.

Why He Could Die: If any of the mutants in this film represented cannon fodder, it€™s Havok. He€™s been around all three films, albeit in limited capacity, so his death would have some resonance and meaning. All the same, it would hardly be devastating to fans and would serve a strong purpose.

Considering the lack of importance he really has, and with so many other new characters, including his brother, Cyclops, there doesn€™t seem to be much reason to justify his inclusion unless it€™s to die. Havingyet another side character present just makes the movie feel bloated but, a good death could warrant his involvement, especially it it motivates Cyclops to step in and take action to avenge him.

Prediction: Killed to show that the villains mean business.
