10. "Walk To Me"
Easily the most difficult thing to watch in this entire movie comes when Jean proves her powers to Charles Xavier by making him walk up the stairs to her, which is agonising not only for him but for us to watch.
It also makes no sense. If Jean is making him walk, why is he struggling and in pain? She can do basically anything with her mind and yet she's struggling to get his legs to walk in anything like a normal human way.
9. Jean Is Super Careful About Lying People Down
At several points in this movie, Jean makes people pass out. It's not clear how, but we're just supposed to accept that she has a sort of killswitch power that makes people go unconscious whenever she likes.
Weirdly though, every time she does it - even when it's people she sees as an imminent threat to her - she lays them down as carefully as a mother lying down their baby. It's really odd and jarring to see when we're supposed to think she's lost her mind to the Phoenix.
