The mystery role of the hour goes to Jessica Chastain, who seems to be playing a sneaky manipulator working in the shadows.

Fox have kept her role under wraps so far, and though it's the Hellfire club in the comics that manipulate Jean's dark side, they're unlikely to reemerge this time around, having been used in X-Men: First Class.

Her anonymity is refreshing though. If Dark Phoenix is attempting to do its own thing, having Chastain involved is a good way of making it work.
