Just ahead of Marvel and Disney's release of the new Captain America: Winter Soldier trailer, Twentieth Century Fox have unveiled a sneak peak for Bryan Singer's upcoming comic book movie event, X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which will debut next May. The sneak peak, which debuted on the XmenMovies Instagram account earlier today features a series of brief scenes cut together with a terribly dramatic sountrack to give some sense of the drama we can all expect from Bryan Singer's upcoming release, which lands in cinemas in May 2014. This new material, which could originally only be viewed on Instagram, has a number of engaging images (some of which can be seen below) from Wolverine's apparent torture to a screaming Beast, and Xavier apparently caught in an explosion of some description. You can see more of the imagery in the gallery below. Fox have also announced that fans around the world will be able to participate in a live Twitter Chat with Bryan Singer on Monday, October 28th at 5:30 PM GMT on Singer's personal Twitter page (http://www.twitter.com/bryansinger), and will occur simultaneously on the official X-Men Movies Twitter page (http://www.twitter.com/xmenmovies) ahead of the world premiere of the trailer on Tuesday, October 29th at 1:00pm GMT at www.youtube.com/xmenmovies. The film will unite key members of Singer's original X-Men cast with the new cast of the excellent First Class reboot, including Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, as they team up in a war for the survival of the species across two time periods. X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens in cinemas May 22nd 2014.
