X-Men Days Of Future Past Spoilers: 25 Moments Fox Want You To Know

Trailers are giving more and more away each month with the impending release of the new X-Men, but what can a new viral campaign also tell us?

It goes without saying that the fever levels of anticipation surrounding Bryan Singer's return to the hallowed X-Men franchise are reaching boiling point - a potent fan-pot that 20th Century Fox are more than happy to stir with the help of 25 unique images that all help to flesh out the world events up to multiple points in the film's timeline. Speaking of timelines, for any of the uninitiated Days of Future Past will be dealing with both sets of our loveable mutants; the original Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen-fronted present-day cast, as well as the 1962 younger versions who were played to perfection in 2011's critically-acclaimed X-men: First Class, where we witnessed one of the most magnetic (in more ways than one) villains in Michael Fassbender's portrayal of Magneto. Tying together all the films under one banner in a way the likes of only Joss Whedon knows how, all signs point to a huge success once again, and with these 25 images of palpable fan-pleasing speculation (and a couple surprisingly-frank death reveals) we're most definitely on board for another summer of superheroic showdowns. Courtesy of the Fox-approved site 25 Moments, we now have a much clearer picture of the overall canvas with which both these timelines will now sit, and if you thought analysis of the extended trailer or a selection of pre-release posters had already given away a major character death, well Fox is more than happy to hammer certain others home. Here we dive into the timeline of events that have been shown so far, starting way back in 1962:

Fairly heavily from what the website gives away too, describing "an unidentified group with unexplained powers" to be the ones affecting world history.
