If I am being completely honest, this is one of the X-Men that I actually know very little about in comparison to the others, and though she featured in many Days Of Future Past X-Men comics making her a suitable candidate for a role in the movie, she hasn't excited me all that much when I have read her in the comics. That said, I love her look and her powers and used to play her in one of my PS2 X-Men games regularly, so I'd really love to love this character, and think she would work very well on screen. For those who don't know this character all that well or at all, she is a mutant with the ability of telepathy and telekinesis much like Jean Grey however she can also create really cool purple psychic energy knifes and best of all a katana with her powers. Considering one of my all time favorite films is Kill Bill- the more katana wielding kick-ass female characters the merrier in my opinion. WHO SHOULD PLAY HER: There are many many actresses who could play this role because the character is a white, attractive woman... so pretty much like every actress then. The super-cool thing about this character however is that she is a Brit, and as a fellow Brit I personally love a good British superhero, especially considering Americans use us Brits in pretty much every superhero role in Hollywood at the moment. I know Americans can sometimes do convincing British accent, especially those who are aware we are not all either Royalty or Cockneys, but there is something distinctive about a British actress which I would like to see for this role. If it hadn't been for her apparent role as Ms Marvel in The Avengers 2 I'd like to see Emily Blunt as Psylocke. I wasn't a fan of her until Looper but now I think she is incredible. Because of this though, I'd cast either Keira Knightly, Naomi Watts, Kate Beckinsale or Claire Forlani.
