21. All The Restored Characters

The Snyder Cut's hugely extended runtime also allows the director to restore a number of characters absent from the theatrical release.

First and foremost, S.T.A.R. Labs scientist Ryan Choi (Zheng Kai) - better known by his superhero moniker Atom - appears in several scenes with Silas Stone (Joe Morton), even taking up his mantle at the end of the film.

On the villain side, Darkseid's master torturer DeSaad (Peter Guinness) makes a fan-serving appearance in a few scenes, even if only to drop exposition, and those who pay close attention during Darkseid's brief appearance in the film's climax might notice the iconic supervillain Granny Goodness by his side.

Though the character isn't namedropped in the film's credits, it's very clearly supposed to be her.
