The best and most surprising Easter Egg in the entire film comes when Judy and Nick uncover the truth of the Nighthowlers being drugs to transform animals into savages.

The revelation that Doug the ram is a cook of the substance - which is blue, of course - and wears a yellow jump suit was already one great Breaking Bad reference, but it went further.
When he says that Woolter and Jesse have turned up at his door, the reference becomes absolutely hysterical. Definitely one for the more adult members of the audience.
