Though horned pop star Gazelle is clearly played by Shakira, her name and her status as a mega-brand is undoubtedly a nod to supermodel Giselle.

Apparently, the gazelle was also animated based on Shakira's mannerisms and dancing style, but she asked for her hips to be increased in size:
