10 2019 Video Games That Won't Get Enough Love

10. Days Gone

Days Gone has gone underappreciated ever since it was first revealed, and that's a big shame.

The big problem is zombie fatigue and comparisons to The Last Of Us. Being another game set in a post-apocalyptic world means that being put up against The Last Of Us is no surprise, but the two games couldn't really be further apart.

Up until last month, Days Gone also didn't look anywhere close to being ready for release, with glitchy-looking gameplay and a really poor framerate. All of that has changed since the last preview.

There's a lot of interesting mechanics in Days Gone, and it looks like it will deliver an interesting narrative too, so we're hoping that people will give it a chance.

Releasing right next to one of the year's biggest games, Mortal Kombat 11, doesn't help things much.

To be completely fair, the game has been getting a lot more attention recently so it could manage to pull things around, but we still don't think Days Gone will get nearly as much love as it deserves.
