7. The Viking-Themed Assassin's Creed
With the Assassin's Creed franchise taking a year off in 2019, it's absolutely guaranteed that a new game will release by the end of 2020.
And per the series' history of extensive leaks, Kotaku reported almost a year ago that the new game will be Viking-themed, as is backed up by concept art posted online by a Ubisoft artist for an upcoming project.
Working titles reportedly include Assassin's Creed Kingdom and Assassin's Creed Ragnarok, and had E3 gone ahead this year as initially planned, that's almost certainly where Ubisoft would've finally unveiled the game.
However, the publisher is currently looking into holding their own "digital event" around E3 week, so unless the game ends up pushed to next year, it's quite likely we'll see it revealed in June or thereabouts.
