In combat, Luvdisc's on the same power scale as a flaccid Magikarp, but unlike that splash-happy fish, this... thing, doesn't evolve to become a fearsome king of the ocean, it's fish food that only half adheres to the definition of a Pokémon. It'll certainly fit in your pocket, but a monster it ain't.

That they're a worthwhile catch for the potential Heart Scale that comes attached, Luvdisc escapes, by no more than a whisker, the bottom of the barrel.

It serves a purpose. A minute one, mind, but that's more than what can be said for these...
