What a game of awesome, bloody chaos. The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai was developed by James Silva, the first winner of Microsofts Dream-Build-Play development game development competition. It is designed as a classic 2D, side scrolling beat em up. The story is as wild, wacky, and entertaining as its frantic gameplay.
You play as the undead, unnamed protagonist who is resurrected by his Chef and given super powers to take on a cyborg army. It is a classic tale of revenge as you use an array of weapons ranging from meat cleavers to an uzi/shotgun combo to take down hordes of enemies. The controls were simple but deep as The Dishwasher incorporated basic and strong attacks allowing for ferocious combos and devastating finishers. With a unique art style, multiple game modes and co-op, it is never too late to give this game a chance.
