Remember Me is without question a familiar looking game; it has earned comparisons to both Uncharted (with a female lead) and Mirror's Edge, but given how much we enjoyed both those games, we're not going to complain. Though Dontnod Entertainment's title might have a familiar look, the execution sounds positively revolutionary, with the game's much-hyped "memory remixing" mechanic. Let's say you're cornered by a bad guy, you can enter his mind, mess around with his memory, and influence his actions as a result; it's a thoroughly ingenious concept unlike anything we've ever heard in a game, and we hope it lives up to that promise. With an interesting locale - it's set in late 21st century "Neo-Paris", a nice change from the countless Neo-Tokyo's we've seen in games over the years - and a curious protagonist, this could make for a very unique spin on the classic amnesiac tale. It all hinges on how the memory gimmick works, though; if it's not quite right, it's probably going to sink the entire project. Given that members of the team have collaborated on Splinter Cell, Heavy Rain and Burnout in the past, we like to think we're in good hands nonetheless.
