Many amazing, heavily requested games have already made the leap to backwards compatibility, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Fallout 3. All of these games have enjoyed great success and replay value with this transition, which means that slowly more and more games are being introduced to the lineup.

In short, backwards compatibility breathes new life into old games, and even gives them the chance to shine again. Despite all of the obvious benefits, there are some games that are simply being ignored for backwards compatibility right now. Some of these misrepresented games are smaller titles that are requested by fans, whilst some are obvious choices that are being confusingly omitted.
