10 Best Looking Video Games Of The Generation (So Far)

10. The Order: 1886

The Order may very well go down as the biggest missed opportunity of the generation. The game was developed by Ready At Dawn, a team that had previously created great PSP games like God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Daxter. The Order: 1886 was the developer's first attempt at a AAA game, but the PS4 exclusive released in February 2015 to mediocre reviews.

The game was criticised for its linearity, lack of diverse gameplay, and brevity. The three things everyone could agree were rather excellent however, were the story, the world, and the graphics. Ready At Dawn did an impeccable job of crafting an interesting world with believable characters, and a large part of that came from the stunning graphics.

You probably haven't played The Order: 1886 since it released in 2015, if you even played it then, but it holds up shockingly well. Yes the game is short but to be honest, the game's length was not the issue.

While the gameplay is still lacking, the graphics are still breathtaking. Considering the game released four years ago, Ready At Dawn should be commended for how amazing The Order: 1886 looks. It's just a shame we'll never get to continue the story of Galahad.
