Liara is the fan-favourite romance option. She's the only romantic partner from the first game who will definitely stick around 100% for the sequels as her life is never put in direct jeopardy by the presence of a nuclear bomb. The sweet and intelligent daughter of the greatly misguided Matriarch Benezia, you had to stand by Liara as she fought against her mother in Shepard's quest to stop Saren, and that instant garnering of sympathy, it probably had a lot to do with the player's ultimate decision to fall deeply, madly, and uncontrollably in love with her. She's the main focus in the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC that is widely declared to be some of the best downloadable content out there, and it's no mistake that her romance option in Mass Effect 3 is by far the best. The world has spoken, and the world has chosen to seduce Liara.
