5. Destroying The Tower

Songbird's last act. Elizabeth's only friend she has ever known was a giant mechanical bird. He brought her food and books. It was a complicated relationship, but the strongest that Elizabeth has. Throughout the story of Bioshock Infinite, Songbird has proved to be nothing but a nuisance for Booker and Elizabeth, but his final moments really redeem the big guy. After assisting you in an excruciatingly tough fight atop Comstock's blimp, Songbird is instructed to bring down the tower that held Elizabeth for her entire life. This unleashes her power, and allows us to move into the incredibly moving and gorgeous final sequence. After such an action, even if it was sort of against his will, Songbird's death hurts more than you thought it might. He did destroy the symbol of Elizabeth's oppression after all.
