10 Best Mortal Kombat Villains EVER
2. Quan Chi
Quan Chi may be a gifted necromancer and adept fighter but he prefers to work behind the shadows. Like a chess master, the KISS-inspired magician studies the board and sets up moves that will pay off far into the future. Instead of faltering when met with failure, Quan Chi prepares for it, and usually turns his comrades' biggest setbacks to his advantage
Although most kombatants jump at the opportunity to spill blood, the chalk-skinned soothsayer rarely gets his hands dirty and only brawls when necessary. Through his machinations, Quan Chi has played a hand in most of the biggest moments in Mortal Kombat. He is, in one way or another, responsible for the death of the first Sub-Zero, the damnation of Scorpion, the demise of Liu Kang (in two different timelines), and the return of Shinnok. Despite his disastrous debut in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, Quan Chi has gone on to become one of the most defining characters in the series.
Also, that fatality where he beats his opponent to death with his own leg is one of the funniest finishing moves in the entire franchise.
