10. Twisted Metal

Where has Twisted Metal gone? Easily one of the best car-combat games out there, it really does feel like Sony is laying on a goldmine by not releasing more from the series.

It's not like Twisted Metal isn't a well known series either. From the first few titles on the original PlayStation all the way to the newest title on the PlayStation 3, each Twisted Metal game has arguably been even better than the last, each improving on the formula and adding even more along the way.

Twisted Metal Black in particular is beloved by PS2 owners, with it's expansive car combat being particularly polished at the time of release.

It would be frustratingly simple for Sony to just update Twisted Metal's 2013 release for PS4 whilst we wait for a new title, but that seems pretty unlikely five years later. That's the worst case scenario too, what we really need to see is a brand new game in the series.
