Where to even begin?

Marvel

Combat feels weighty, effective and enjoyable, swinging - for its time - felt revolutionary, especially as we'd never controlled a 3D Spidey in open air before. Indoor levels let you hop up to ceilings to get the drop on foes, or you can stay on the ground and throw random pieces of the environment at them instead.

Web attacks disable, costumes range from Captain Universe Spidey to Ben Reilly and you won't go long before chuckling at the fantastically written script, but it's the soul this game has that elevates it above everything else.

You can tell Neversoft really cared about all-things Spider-Man, creating that rare blend of a substantial budget, creative talent, and very fertile ground as far as establishing just what the character could do in 3D.

2000 Spider-Man is the perfect adaptation of the character, and one that if it was before your time, you NEED to play.
