10 Best Vampire Video Games EVER
10. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard
Starting off the list is one of two expansions that is good enough to be a game in and of itself. Skyrim's Dawnguard expansion provides a meaty 15 hours of content that revolves around the battle between the Dawnguard, an ancient group of vampire hunters, and the Volkihar, a clan of vampires.
Players are given the opportunity to play a singular story from the perspective of these two groups, that centers around the vampiric lord Harkon's efforts to use the Elder Scrolls to fulfill a prophecy that will blacken out the sun, allowing his kind to reign supreme.
While it is all well and good to work with an ancient order of vampire hunters, the main event here is the chance to access the powers of darkness. Vampire Lord and Lycanthropy skill trees open up to the players, allowing them to get a myriad of powers including blood draining, poison claws, and powerful transformations.
Getting the chance to take the Dovhakiin the Dragonborn and making him into an even more powerful monster takes the power fantasy that is Skyrim and cranks the intensity up to eleven. The only thing keeping it so low on the list is that it is is simply not strong enough to stand alone.
