3. Game Ov-Oh, Never Mind - God Of War: Ragnarok

In God of War: Ragnarok, Kratos and his son, Atreus, find themselves at war with the Norse pantheon once more. As they travel across the nine realms, the pair encounter many arduous adversaries, including vicious Valkyries, the merciless Sigrun, and Odin the Allfather.

But, out of nowhere, mighty god of thunder interrupts the Game Over screen, by electrocuting Kratos back to life!

Why does the boorish deity do this? So he can kill Kratos all over again, of course!

Even though the final battle with Thor is far more epic, nothing in God of War: Ragnarok has the same effect as this masterful fake-out.
