Nintendo games in general are famous for not really embracing voice acting, instead opting for cartoonish grunts and text-filled silences. But experimentation is to be celebrated. You've got to give Nintendo props for trying something new with Super Mario Sunshine, even if it did lead to one of the most surreal moments in Mario history. Hearing Peach and Toadsworth talking was strange enough, but hearing Bowser speak was truly unnerving (not to mention super cringe-worthy). Nintendo, if you're reading this...never do that again.
