Heres a neat feature that awesomely doesnt even require your PlayStation 4 to be on. Thats already a godsend for charging standard controllers but if you think creatively, it doesnt have to end there. Simply put, if you have something like a cellphone that needs charging and nowhere else to do so, why not use your PS4? Itll get the job done just as swift. It doesnt end there though as you can practically charge anything that utilises a micro-USB. You can also go steps further and buy adapters to charge more devices simultaneously but this is already a good head start. So get charging those additional pieces of hardware!
