10 Broken Yu-Gi-Oh Cards That Can NEVER Be Unbanned

10. Soul Charge

A staggeringly powerful Spell Card, it's a surprise that Soul Charge was ever released. The fact that it was published as late as 2014, when Konami really should have had a bit more foresight when it comes to balancing power, is more shocking still.

For a measly 1000 Life Points per Monster and one lost Battle Phase, players can revive any number of creatures from their Graveyard, refuelling their entire Field. Essentially acting as five Monster Reborns in one (with very little added drawback), Soul Charge not only opens the door for players to Special Summon their most powerful Main Deck Monsters after thinning their Deck, but also allows duelists to easily access material for Synchro, Xyz and Link Summons.

A very versatile Spell, Soul Charge can create an insurmountable barrier of Monsters which even the most talented opponent would struggle to overcome. In a format full to the brink with archetypes that revolve around endless streams of Special Summons, Soul Charge is even more overpowered now than it was in 2014.
