Revolution X is an arcade rail-shooter released by Midway in 1994. The game’s story involves the player fighting against the evil New Order Nation, who seek to throw humanity into disarray by... kidnapping Aerosmith. You succeed in your adventure by travelling the world, shooting CDs at your enemies and freeing the individual band members.

Members of the band are hidden throughout the levels, and it is up to the player to find and rescue them. Aerosmith songs like Eat the Rich and Walk This Way provide the soundtrack to the frantic shooting action, with band members like Steven Tyler and Joey Kramer appearing in the game to provide instructions on where to find the New Order operations around the globe.

As much as all this sounds like someone describing a vivid fever dream, the game was actually very well received by fans and critics and as a result, was ported to many home consoles of the time like the Super Nintendo and the Sega Mega Drive.
