10 Cheapest One-Hit Kill Enemies In Gaming History

10. Clickers - The Last Of Us

There are some dastardly enemies among this list and the clicker, from The Last Of Us, most certainly ranks up there in regard to stopping power. However, I quite like them.

They have legitimate counter-play and are absolutely devastating, regardless of what difficulty you play on. If you hadn’t guessed by the name, these enemies click.

Their entire head has been overtaken by the cordyceps fungus, meaning they have to track their surroundings through echolocation. The bloater ties for difficulty but can be dispatched like any bullet sponge, the clicker is much trickier.

If you have a shiv, you might be able to sneak up to it and get your own personal one-hit kill in. Though, bear in mind, shivs can be used to open up secret areas for more loot. You could also pull the trigger of a shotgun until it, too, clicks. The issue here is that, on the higher difficulties, most specifically Grounded, you will be lucky to find a brick laying around on the floor, let alone bullets.

Then, factor in that you’ll be facing numerous clickers, complemented by runners and now we’ve got a party ready to rip your face open.
