Rockstar has always been hit and miss when it comes to supporting PC, mostly miss. Despite their commitment to consoles, they can still make some damn good games and released in 2010, Red Dead Redemption is definitely one that qualifies. Perhaps the most definitive Western game of all time, the second entry into the Red Dead series features an epic story set in a breathtaking rendition of the American West circa 1911, with the description of "Grand Theft Auto with horses" not being entirely inaccurate, as this game follows a similar mission structure with third-person open-world gameplay. Although many other Rockstar titles such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Bully have made their way onto PC, they've done so with very little support. If Red Dead Redemption is so similar, why hasn't it gotten the same treatment? Sure, it might turn out to be a shoddy port job upfront, but that's nothing the community can't fix. Just as much as PC gamers would love to play Red Dead Redemption on their platform of choice, the game itself would benefit just as much from it. Despite having seemingly minimal effort put into it, Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC can look even better than its successor - and indeed most next-gen titles - due to the support of the modding community. With a little help from the modding community, they could take a beautiful game and make it look even more amazing.
