Although Xbox 360 players got to finish the fight several years ago, PC gamers have been sadly left in the dark. Microsoft has been tiptoeing around PC support for a while now, and the best way to show that they mean business in this market is by dropping a heavy hitter like Halo 3. The first two games in the franchise did see a CD-ROM release, and they're more than overdue for a re-release. With Halo: Spartan Assault being the only game in the franchise to inhabit the platform in a digital state (legally), Halo 3 especially needs a port now that Microsoft has moved on to the Xbox One. Of course, playing any Halo game on PC just makes sense; first-person shooters play better on keyboard and mouse, but aside from the support of additional apparatuses there's also the potential to mod the game even further, allowing for infinite replayability in what is already one of the greatest multiplayer experiences of all time.
