10 Coolest Gadgets In Batman Video Games
10. Batdisks - Batman: The Video Game (1989)
There are definitely more than a few Batman games out there based on the 1989 Tim Burton movie. Batman: The Video Game stands as one of the better ones, offering a fast-paced side-scrolling action style of play reminiscent of games like Contra and Castlevania.
This game gives you quite a lot of diverse gizmos to play around with, including the classic batarangs, a speargun, and, most intriguingly, the devastating Batdisks, which can make mincemeat of anything standing in your way.
Not literally, as fortune would have it, as almost everything Batman fights in this game is entirely robotic. At the same time, the fact that there's no risk of breaking his one rule here means he can afford to pull out the big guns.
Or blades, rather. The attack consists of three shuriken-like projectiles being shot straight ahead of Batman, widening as they go and allowing for quite a generous area of damage. It sure does make short work of the machines in your path, so perhaps it's just as well that Bruce never tries them out on any people.
