10 Deleted Video Game Scenes You Need To See
10. Ghostbusters - Thanksgiving Day Parade
Those who have delved into Ghostbusters: The Video Game no doubt hold it on a high pedestal. Some consider it the official sequel to the original movie and completely canon in the universe. Others have even completely dismissed Ghostbusters II and place this as the only sequel.
Much like both of those movies, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is also privy to cut content. However, a lost scene was pulled from the games data which would have centred around a Thanksgiving Day parade.
Before release, certain promotional material, such as trailers, hinted towards the inclusion of this level. It would have seen our favourite ghost busting gang on top of one of the floats, engaging in dramatic fights against the ghouls that plagued the city.
Little remains from this now, but for those who have dug deep down into the games data have managed to find cutscenes pulled exactly from that moment. It's clear that this was originally intended to be an integral part of the story, as certain levels reference the events, but unfortunately, never saw the light of day.
Why it was cut, no one knows, but it would be really cool to see it implemented again some day.
