10. Grey Jack - Resistance

Resistance had the unique benefit of letting you shoot the terrifying alien monsters rather than run from them. And whilst, more often than not, it played like a standard high octane military shooter, there was one enemy that immediately turned the tide of battle and induced panic.

Grey Jacks were easily the most dreaded enemy in the game. Gangly, grinning chimera, the Grey Jacks ignore the standard tactical shooter role and simply bound across the battlefield, not stopping until you put them down. They run at you no matter what, with no other purpose other than to make you cack yourself. It doesn't matter where you are, they are coming for you.

It is their introduction that is the most memorable, however. You are trapped in a room with several of them contained in glass cages. One by one, they break out, with you barely being able to kill one before two more appear.

And whats worse is that they become a standard enemy, meaning that any fire-fight can instantly be magnified by a trio of them breaking the lines and lunging at you.
